Residents renewing BNO Passports

Hong Kong residents have been renewing their British National Overseas (BNO) passports in record numbers last year. It was estimates that around 150,000 BNO passports were issued in 2019 which is a massive jump from the previous year and around 30,000 have so far applied to renew their BNO passport this year up to the end of June. It is estimated there are around 2.5 million people who hold the BNO status in Hong Kong.
